LAST EDITED ON Feb-09-02 AT 03:45 AM (EST)I am about to hand myself some pain.
I will host your .sig image on my Web server if you find yourself without storage space for it. Here is what you have to do:
1) Email it to me as an attachment. I am ardaniel@ronin-research.org.
2) Make sure it's within the guidelines Zoner has already specified. I'll be checking.
3) Make sure the filename is the same as your EPU forum username. For instance, mine would be ardaniel.png.
4) When I get your image, I'll put it on my server and give you your URL. I'd've put it here, but it's not showing up properly. ;)
You can then reference that in your spiffy HTML .sig and it'll show up. I run a FreeBSD machine that's darned stable, so it should always turn up unless something is Really Wrong (and if that happens, I'll try to make alternate arrangements and post them here).
So, send 'em this way, kids. :)

One other thing.I'll endeavor to be as timely as possible with giving you your URL and getting you set to go. Bear in mind that I may be returning to work shortly, and work is probably not going to be in an IT environment-- this may lead to delays. If that happens, I'll let everyone know that they can expect to wait on a morning/ afternoon submission until I get back from work.
Also, one of my former workplaces (Carnegie Mellon) had a lovely policy known as the Reasonable Person Principle. Simply stated, "if a reasonable person wouldn't do it, you shouldn't either." If you submit an image, make sure it's one you're going to be happy with for at least a couple months. Don't email me every five seconds wanting a new one, or I will become less-than-happy with your lack of reasonableness. ;)

>I am about to hand myself some pain. Whew. You are a brave person <g>. If you get too busy and/or don't feel like dealing with this at some point, let me know and I've got a FreeBSD box I can toss the images onto. It's got forty some clients on it, so it will not be going down, and there's plenty of space on there. Just an offer if you're ever in need of a place or person to offload this to.
