HTML is a bit different from Perl;)

Anyway, I imagine sooner or later Zoner will reply, rendering all speculation moot anyway, but I feel like waxing poetic about code so...

IF <BIG IF> DCF does what my instincts tell me to do, the 'container' around each post is generate by a single function that lays out the various links we all know and love. In -that- case, someone with access to the code who knows where to look could excise the 'reply' link relatively easily.

Now, if DCF has several places that each end up generating 'reply' links under different circumstances, it gets a wee bit more complicated <though not insanely so>.

Note this is all predicated on DCF having non-insanity inducing program structure. If their message database design is any indication <dig through the archives for -that- monstrosity>, that is far from given.
