Is this feature gone? I preferred this to table-of-contents mode, but it's turned off for me now and I can't seem to find a way to turn it back on. The FAQ doesn't have a relevant question for it, and there's no option in any of the user-configurable settings. And I can't remember how I first turned it on back in the day. Advice, clarification, please?

Seems to be back, Bob. IIRC, "View All" was set by individual thread, and the collapse to "Default Tree Mode" happened once the thread reached a certain number of messages. The expansion back to "View All" happened when you clicked on a "View All" link next to the original message in the thread under the previous system. That's where I found it today too.

Um, not the way I had my account set up for lo these many years. I never had to futz around with "View All" and collapsed trees -- I got everything every time.

And I want it back, if I can get it.

There appears to be no config option for this, and I didn't change any of the style configs anyway - just reactivated some previously inactive forums and twiddled with the moderator settings. My guess is that it's acting the way it's supposed to now, and was actually misbehaving for you before, but that's only a guess. I don't see any way to make that user-configurable, either way...
