Hi, I'm Meagen, I like Eyrie works 'cause they're so much fun to read, I posted here once causing much suspicions of trolldom, and haven't been seen since. With that out of the way, question to authors of Eyrie: Have you seen the series/read the manga Meitantei Conan (Detective Conan), and if so, what did you think of it? (Please note the sneaky way I'm posting in the Misc forum and carefully avoiding the question "Will Shinichi Kudo be in *ficname*"!) Meagen

> No-one said it had to be the UF universe. I thought of something like this: Everyone goes to Worchester, for one reason or other. (Much description of local features ensues.) There they meet Gryphon and MegaZone, Conan's secret gets out, Gryphon calls up some of his eccentric scientist friends, and they find a way to not only change him back, but let him switch forms at will and painlessly. (<--- very useful) After much reasonable dialogue Shinichi and Ran become true lovers (perhaps even engaged). Ran has some introspection on the subject of "I want to protect him", which results in her getting some gadgets or learning some new abilities (or even becoming a Lensman, depending on the universe). Kogoro gets over his drinking/women problem and turns out a great father and very good cop. He also gets some new stuff, and they go back to Japan with Gryph and Zoner to kick the Dark Syndicate's ass. *That's* what would happen if Eyrie wrote Detective Conan. Meagen
