Ladies, Gentlemen, and possible sentient computing devices, I suggest that you retrieve "roseate_nocturne.mpg" from your friendly local filesharing program, and view it. It's a video using footage from "Revolutionary Girl Utena", and the movie "The Adolescence of Utena", set to the song "Bring Me Life" by Evanescence. I rather liked it. -- Kokuten Daysleeper RCW #13013 (Insert Witticism Here)

LAST EDITED ON 03-28-03 AT 07:31 AM (EST) Alternatively, you can try this link. It's the Anime Music Videos info/summary page, if you were wondering. It also has a direct link to the file. EDIT: Not very impressed, personally. But then again, what do I know.

Personally I'm rather fond of the one done by Kusoyaro Productions to Bjork's Bachelorette...-- Bob ------------------- And Jesus said unto them, "And whom do you say that I am?" They replied, "You are the eschatological manifestation of the ground of our being, the ontological foundation of the context of our very selfhood revealed." And Jesus replied, "What?"

>Dweezil Zappa I hazard to say the Zappa cover of that song is one of the best covers I've heard in a very long time.

>I hazard to say the Zappa cover of that song is one of the best covers >I've heard in a very long time. actually, I'm rather fond of the version that I found, apparently by a band called "sfd" (whom I've never heard of before). Then again, I rather like punk covers of songs that are distinctly non-punk...kind of like hte Blink 182 cover of "The Phantom of the Opera" I found :) but this is rather off-topic :)
