I remember an issue of X-Men where Cyclops fought Storm in the Danger Room for leadership of the X-Men and lost. And this was after Storm had lost her powers.

He seemed really pissy that had happen. My feelings were "Dude, you're a GUN. She kicked your ass without powers because you weren't smart enough to be anything other than a GUN."
