...to me that Eyrie has Patrick Steward playing
Proffessor X and Captain Jean-Luc Picard. gee that would be very confusing if any of the DDP X-men
happen to "Appear" on the Enterprise :)

Besides, if you were god's avatar, would you really want to be mistaken for a lowly Starship Captain? I mean, really...yeesh :)

>The difference there being, IIRC, that the respective fictional versions showed the IRL age of the actor when he played them (in other words, Walter Koenig was a wee bit older as Bester than he was as Checkov). So the resemblence was uncanny, but not inexplicable. I dare say a Picard/Xavier encounter would be a bit more ripe for comedic plucking (if nothing else, I expect the unprepared to wonder when Prof. X decided to have his legs fixed, or conversely when Picard was injured and how long it'd take him to be healed).
