I was watching something I won't name right away, but something said really resonated with what people have said, or asked on these boards, and Gryphon's, and others' responses to them. "There is a tendendy to expect too much of "him", and to expect answers he never intended to provide."
This really struck a chord with me, and these forums, and just had to comment on it.
As to why I didnt' say where it was from at first, it was because I know Gryphon doesn't like LotR, and I didn't want this to become a discussion of such.
The quote was from John Howe, an excellent artist used as conceptual artist for the Lord of the Rings movies, from the commentary on the making of the Fellowship. He was referring to Tolkein, and people's expectations and questions regarding the Lord of the Rings series.
