it's because I incremented all the default text sizes by one in the admin panel. I'm old now and my eyes get tired.

Heh. I did notice, in the "oh, that's better" sense. Particularly right now, when my eyes REALLY appreciates it.
For those of you that wonder, a notable injury/sore on the cornea? Is firmly counter-indicated, as they say.
Particularly for me, as my eyes are ever so slightly crap individually, but work somewhat together...as one DOESN'T work properly at the moment, the other isn't really taking up the slack.

Somewhat similar, I would think, yes. Both eyes work together, but are not quite up to it separately. This hasn't been a problem, and while I do have a pair of glasses, I've chosen not to use them because, well, no need, really.

However, with this injury in general, and the protective contact lens I'm wearing because of it in particular, things are more than slightly out of focus on that side...and the other side isn't up to taking up the slack, making things even worse. Depth is somewhat shot, and I've even found myself swaying ever so slightly when trying to balance on one foot(putting on shoes and the like) because of it. Things are, or at least were as of yesterday evening, heading in the right direction, but as noted...do avoid at all costs because it is an UTTER misery.

Things that will help avoiding it: not growing old(as age deteriorate the 'lubricating' abilities of tears), not having winter(which, being cold, brings drier air), wearing 'screen' glasses as this helps with staring at a computer or tv screen.
Ways I failed: did grow old, did live in a country that actually have winter, did NOT wear such glasses.

Good, it wasn't me. I thought I had fat-fingered some odd keyboard shortcut and tweaked some setting in my browser. "Great, now everything is gonna look all weird and shit" was my thinking before I noticed the post. Although I do agree with you. Getting old really sucks, doesn't it?

Ah, OK, I was wondering what happened. I'd just come from another forum where the site colour setup is utterly unreadable unless I zoom in my browser by one step; I thought Something Weird™ had glitched in Firefox, and I was still seeing everything slightly zoomed.
