 Well, it's my first try at charcoal (I'm a pencils and pens person, usually), but I thought that charcoal would do crushed velvet better. Let me tell you something: charcoal is an unforgiving mistress. Pencil then charcoal on (gasp) copy paper. That's the stuff you stick in your printer. My inexperience with charcoal led me to have to crop his legs out (the original picture has them, messed up, all the way to the tips of his toes). Minor digital editing to make it bearable. If I was on my game, it would look like Miki. Ah well. My sig was cropped, so I had to re-do it with paintshop. So it looks a bit funky. Sorry. -Craig
