I liked, more or less, how these came out.

DJ is wielding a badly-drawn Glock. Notice that his plugsuit looks altered, as if his intimate contact with Lucifer has altered it. Notice his semi-long, bishounen hair. I think his women-magnet factor has been increased by who knows how much, now.

Asuka.... well, i just drew her quickly and out she came like that. I altered the plugsuit to what I remembered about the alternate plugsuits that Yoshiyuki-san had drawn... or something. Anyway, she looks too slit-eyed, but then, nothing ever comes out perfectly. ::shrug::

...Yes, I know, she's missing a lower body. But then, DJ's missing part of his right arm.::shrug::

OOOOoooooOOOOO! I like. The slit-eyed look seems to be fitting of Asuka, considering the situation she's left in at the end of "Blood Dimmed Tide". I sure would love to see inked and colored versions of these. Maybe I can get my girlfriend to do digital colorizations for you. She can make Adobe Photoshop 6 sit up, do backflips, and make a wicked cup of moca-java while your at it. ~_^

*grins* Okay, I'll see if I can get her to do it. She probably will, her being an Eva fan herself (she's got two Eva-01 figures: one is the Real Model 11 "Purple Beserker" by BEC, the other is the Limited Edition Metallic Color one by Xebec Toys).

Anywho, this means one of two things... She'll either ask you for a copy of an inked version or she'll just use the pics you posted up there. I'm thinking she might do the latter, but I'm not sure.

There is _no_ inked version.

I don't have any inking pens. The only thing that _might_ work is my brush pen, but it's a small piece and I'm afraid I will do something that I will regret.

However, larger scans, I can do. Something like 3000+ x 2000+ pixels. _That_ I can send or something.

Okay then. No need for a large scan, the computers we have now wouldn't be able to handle something that huge. We'll just use the pics you posted here on the board. I'll keep you guys posted on the progress.

It was a very dark piece. Not its subject, but its colors.

Personally, I think softer colors will work will with this. Call me biased, but I like the softer colors that Yoshiyuki Sadamoto(Sadamato?)-san uses.

Um. No. I think DJ Croft is not a babe magnet via looks (early david duchovny looks, well, tadpole like) but personality. Give them boy his normal haircut. I bet he's holding that gun on his stylist.

Asuka is looking very pissed and sulky. Perhaps that shot is from earlier in NXE? I can't see her looking that way in NXE:TMP. Otherwise nice job.
