They're the same meta-character.

Eh? Meta-character? Does that mean its the same
person from a different perspective?

I think he's referring to the fact that in NXE, Reilael is part of the angelic choir known as Cherubim. This is an In Nomine concept of course. Cherubim celestial (or true) forms are those of idealized animals with wings, and these animal forms may be either based on "mythical" or real creatures. Some Cherubim could be lions with wings, others might be more like a Pegusus. Reilael apparently is a Griffin (or Gryphon). Which is nicely ironic, if not entirely unexpected, given the source. ^_^

Oh! I see... forgive the slowness. Hmm that does add
a new aspect to 'Rei' :)
Nicely done.

Ah! Now you realize the truth so skillfully obscured!
It's not DJ who's Gryphon's SI, it's REI !!!

... Sorry ... couldn't resist.
Must remember to get the silly-fits I get from reviewing old threads out of my system before posting. You can blame this one on the 'NXE Hostility' one pointed out recently.

Remember kids, seeing SIs where there are none is a sign of obsession.

BUSted!

Actually, you know, there's a strange element of truth in that, if you look at it from a particular angle. Rei is a quiet, self-deprecating character who, through the friendship of others, learns to be bold - it's quite a bit like what happened to me in college. I do identify with her...

But does her mom constantly want to redecorate her space? ;-)

I know this applies more to NGE than NXE, but I was just thinking of who her "mom" is in the original source material... *SHUDDER*

My head's obviously in a very weird place, because under _those_ circumstances, the "redecorating" line reminds me of a line from The Tick, where the interviewer asks Tick,

"Can you destroy the world?"

"EGAD, I HOPE not! That's where I keep all of my stuff!"

Right... time for the meds...
