LAST EDITED ON Jan-09-20 AT 02:21 PM (EST) In spite of being both bad at, and massively annoyed by, the fishing so-called minigame in Stardew Valley, I have, at last, in the fifth year of my reign, completed the god damn community center.--G. -><- Benjamin D. >I'm still waiting for a duck to finally drop a father!I'm sorry to have to inform you that this is never going to happen. :) --G. I know what you meant, though. >Buy the duck feather from the traveling merchant :) Maybe. If she has one. For three times its market value. :) --G. -><- Benjamin D. Ah, the eternal dilemma of any game with a farming mechanic: When you need something, you can never find it or only find tiny amounts of it. But the moment the quest/task/etc that requires it has been satisfied, your cup immediately runneth over with the damned things.

In this run of the game, I spent in the neighborhood of two years waiting for the fourth part of a four-piece set to drop, and then got two of them in literally the same action. There's a surprising amount of RNG in Stardew Valley for a supposed farming game. :) --G. -><- Benjamin D.
