Had a busy week last week...

First, my first non-fiction book I've written came out. It's called the Russian Ukraine war factbook, and it covers the first month of the current war. It gives the background, the leaders, the units involved, and the equipment used by both sides. It's written to give anyone who wants to know about the war a good overview of the first month, from the time the Russians invaded Ukraine in February to the Russian withdrawal from Kyiv in early April. It's only a hardcopy ATM....

I also had a Battletech short novel published last week -- Elements of Treason: Opportunity. Covering another formation of a state in the former Jade Falcons territory -- the Vesper Marches.

Back to writing!!

And now, the third novel in the Elements of Treason series is out!

Elements of Treason: Honor is out and it's about Clan Hell's Horses, a faction that has rarely appeared in Battletech fiction!

Happy happy joy joy!!!

My copy is on order and should be with me by Monday. I enjoyed the first two novels, so I'm looking forward to seeing what you do in this one.

Hey, grats! However belated they may be...

My own contacts with published Battletech writings are you, and Jeremy Ciccione ("Farewell Song" in an ish of SHRAPNEL). The story put a bow on an abortive A TIME OF WAR campaign we had run in; the protagonist was his character, and mine was Kseniya.

Oh, fiddlesticks!

I never did mention that I had another Battletech novel published last July, did I?

It's my longest one to date, In the Shadow of the Dragon, and it's a murder mystery that morphs into a political thriller in the Draconis Combine in 3150!

Right now, I am in the middle of writing a Second Draft of the first novel about the Clans' Wars of Reaving. (Two other authors are writing books Two and Three,) but I'm the lead-off hitter fro this one...

Well, back to writing!

Craig

It's quite good! Do recommend!

I have stories in Shrapnel issues 14, 15, 17, and 19, and I'm working on a couple of BT novellas for the founding of Clan Blood Spirit and a Mercenary unit getting in over their head during the third succession war.

I've also got fiction in the upcoming "Margin Calls" Shadowrun sourcebook, and some material written for the "Mean Streets" rulebook which will be out in a few months.

Also, for those curious about Battletech Gothic, I've got a few ideas I'm kicking around with my editor...
