And the animation is a loveletter to the feel of classic anime. As one of the first comments said: "So...when's the full season dropping?"

If this was a trailer for an anime, I would be at least Pi times as hyped up.

The main characters hairstyle makes me imagine Priss in the role.

I'd say it's more 90s anime than 80s - there's one very obvious Cowboy Bebop reference. The animation is a bit more of a coherent narrative than Starship Velociraptor and an excellent example of how you don't always need dialogue to build a story or even a world.

That EVA rescue attempt is incredible.
