Hello. I'm DaPatman89, though you can drop the 89 when talking to/about me if you want. I enjoy reading, snooker and playing games of all types, be they board, card or video.I first discovered UF a couple of years ago, when it promptly replaced TV Tropes as the thing that came closest to making me fail out of university (fortunately, it wasn't successful); though I didn't get as far as the forums until about three months ago, on which I've lurked ever since. To be honest, I'll probably still lurk for the most part, except now I can contribute if I want to. Fun fact: Gryphon is the only internet celebrity who's birthday I know, primarily due to the fact that it is also my birthday.

I don't invite just *ANYONE* to this corner of the www. I prefer to keep my selections... screened. I think it's because Kokuten invited me in real life back in 98 I think and I tend to follow his example: "Shhhh... wanna see a secret"?

> I prefer to keep my selections... screened.I don't invite just anyone to this corner of the net because it usually comes out as: "I just read this Dirty Pair/Bubblegum Crisis/Star Wars/Rayearth/B5/Ah My Goddess/Big O/Utena crossover fanfic and it's amazing!" And then they think I'm just weird or making it up. Maybe "Wanna see a secret" is the correct approach. Anyway, a late welcome to DaPatman. And if you ever want to help me improve the character sheet for UF on TVTropes, it would be much appreciated. During school breaks, of course!
