#0, Best of podcast?
Posted by trigger on May-17-11 at 03:54 PM
I've decided that Star-Crossed is by far the best of the podcasted UF stories and I'd love hear the other two Tali stories "Correspondence (I-III)" and "Holiday in the Sun" on podcast.

yah, I know, it's so not happening, esp given it's finals time...

Well, as it happens, finals are over (WARNING: link contains blatant blowing of own horn) and I've already recorded part of Holiday. Correspondence would be harder - all those headers! huge, unbroken swathes of the Tali voice! - but now that I know there's some call for it, I'll give it some thought when I get home. I'm traveling tonight and don't have my good mic with me (and I think my grandparents would be bemused if I started emoting in their guest room :).

Congratulations, and well done. I've been there with the whole multiple disastrous attempts at college, and it was *mumble*mumble* years before I went back and was successful. Keep up the hard work, and a degree may someday be yours, sooner than you might think.

As someone who is a complete idiot convinced she shouldn't be there half the time and panicking about everybody realizing she's a fraud for the other half, blowing of your horn for marks like that's pretty damn justified. It's good to have confidence in one's abilities but better to have evidence of them.

Hell man, no matter the classes involved, that kind of result deserves a bit of horn blowing.

Here's Holiday. I'm taking a stab at Correspondence but a) no promises yet and b) if I do decide to go forward with it, it's gonna take a while, and I offer no explicit or implied warranty that I'm going to pronounce any of those foreign-language "I love you"s right. :)

This is still very much in force, just so you know. I also accept no responsibility if you start finding those headers as tiresome to keep listening to as I found them to keep reading. :)

YEAH! Thanks, chief!

This will make studying for my TX Govt class less boring tomorrow!

edit: Thursday was a FOUR HOUR lecture on Texas' taxes...Several of my classmates applauded when our instructor announced that she had had enough for one day. Re-reading this chapter...is going to hurt. xD
