I'm pretty sure I saw the villain cast of Ninja Scroll in there too.

Why is it that lately the fan films like this are more interesting than anything that's commercially produced? I'd pay good money to see a movie like this.

Michael C. Fortner
"Maxim 37: There is no such thing as "overkill".
There is only "open fire" and "I need to reload".

...........huh.

OK, sure, I'd watch it, though I'd reserve the right to riff it.

Please make it real.

I just watched it again. Is that really a camera crew we see for a moment in the obligatory running-across-the-rooftops bit?

I knew it was going way over the top when I recognised the familiar sorta-IR view. I knew it was going gloriously over the top when I noticed Zatoichi was carrying the mysterious metal cylinder.

Hmm, I wonder... could this be done as a New Century Zatoichi movie..?

I'm pretty sure Kate would veto Gatling Cock over there.

That's only one of the things that had me ROTFLMAO.

I'm trying to imagine the first read-through of the script. It'd be like an Eye Of Argon reading — no-one would be able to keep a straight face.
