Was UG General Decree 2288-1257 the one about letting GENOM pursue the former members of the then-defunct WDF?"They planned their campaigns just as you might make a splendid piece of harness. It looks very well; and answers very well; until it gets broken; and then you are done for. Now I made my campaigns of ropes. If anything went wrong, I tied a knot; and went on." -- Arthur Wellesley, First Duke of Wellington

I suspect the Baroness won't have to pay for a drink in any place a WDF member (current or former) or supporter of same is in for the remainder of her days.-- Geoff Depew - Darth Mephron Haberdasher to Androids, Dark Lord of Sith Tech Support. "And Remember! Google is your Friend!!"

Silly question, but is that a Tragically Hip reference? (I was rewatching the video for "Bobcaygeon," and I noticed that Rob Baker has that same inscription on his guitar.)

I don't know who Rob Baker is, but I approve of his taste in guitar graffiti. He's making a reference to the same root source: the late Woody Guthrie (1912-1967, composer of "This Land Is Your Land", father of Arlo Guthrie of "Alice's Restaurant" fame) was known for labeling his guitars thus. It is reputed to have come from a marking he saw in a photo of a Republican aircraft during the Spanish Civil War (though I would presume that the original wasn't in English - "esta máquina mata fascistas"?). --G. -><- Benjamin D.
