This is the cover of the VDC compilation set of the 2410 series of Professor Enigma - the first series to feature Rose Tyler in the title role. It depicts the Hundredth Professor as she initially appears in the season opener, "Weltanschauung": confused, dismayed, and still wearing the 99th's clothes.Scouted by Doc Mui from Phil Moy. --G. -><- Benjamin D. Is it wrong that the first thing I did on reading this post was sit down and math out how many years each Professor averaged in the role between the show's inception and the Hundredth Professor?-Merc Keep Rat

I don't know if it's wrong, but your math is likely to be a bit out, since it probably doesn't take into account the various periods in which the show wasn't being made or the Avignon Professors. :) --G. -><- Benjamin D. I wanted to joke about how her first words would be "Still not ginger!," but then thought that after 99 Professors, even that joke would have gotten stale.

For several episodes in Rose's second series in the role, the Professor is ginger, although it's not natural. --G. "What? I was curious. We have science, John." -><- Benjamin D. As an aside, I've never gotten around to writing "Weltanschauung" (much less the episode that preceded it), but I have a complete explanation in my head for where that Starfleet communicator came from. :)I won't go into details, but I will say that the first thing 100 said that wasn't distracted mutterings to herself was addressed to the communicator's owner, and was, "Good morning Captain!" :) --G. -><- Benjamin D.
