#0, CSI: The Board Game

I was wandering around the pharmacy today while waiting for my son's medication to be filled, and I saw this on the shelf in the toy section. Something on the box just didn't look right. Having never seen the show, I could not figure out what it was. After 5 minutes it finally hit me: Gil and Sara didn't have the Salusian primary ears!

Congratulations, Gryph, you have completely influenced my view of the characters. :)

Heh. I am amused, if not entirely convinced. :)

(Was This Product Really Necessary Dep't: A CSI board game has actually existed for much longer than the show itself. It's called Clue.)

Well, it is true. Of course, I had just gotten off a long shift at the 911 center and my brain wasn't firing on all 4 cylinders.... :)

I just read that the actors Jorja Fox and George Eads, who play investigators Sara Sidle and Nick Stokes, were fired after asking for more money to stay on the show. Saw that on Fox News, but is probably in other places too. So maybe a copy of that game would be worth having, if they are on the cover.

They're now back on staff, and production will resume as normal.

What a coincidence -- I had exactly the same brain-glitch last week when I was looking at DVDs (for Babylon 5, actually) and came across the CSI season boxed sets. I just had this weird feeling something didn't look right...
