Very nifty - the logo's quite nice.

But some of those un-produced episode titles are severe teases.

I'm still terribly proud of the IPO/NA CSI badge graphic. Originally crafted to deform onto Sara's windbreaker in the pic where I added her Salusian ears, it was way more than I actually needed at the time, but I'm glad I got obsessive about it all the same. :)

It is pretty neat -- I like all the detail in it.

Speaking of which, where are the modified cast pics? I would have thought they'd be linked off the series subpage, but they're not, and I'm a bit too busy at the moment to go rooting through the archives to find them. (You know that so-called Chinese curse about interesting times? Yeah, been my week. Like I said many years ago, interesting is way overrated.)

Heh, I wonder if that was a link to one of the archived threads I moved to the new CSINA board this morning. I bet it is, it's pointing at Forum 1, the UF General board.

If it was, there aren't many of them in the CSINA board archive bin, so it shouldn't take too long to dig it up. From context, it'll presumably be the one with the pictures in.

Yep, there it is.

Thanks :). Okay, Sara's humanized-Salusian version is as cute as I remembered.

Man, the unproduced episodes have the most intriguing titles. Black Mesa? The Crimson Lizard? I guess we'll never know...

Knowing 'Jack, he probably invented something that shot him and then it exploded. :)

If only HL2 would work right, it keeps freezing up after I meet Barney...

But, who DID shoot Wheeljack?
Answer, probably one of his own inventions, like a vengeful Dinobot or something

>But, who DID shoot Wheeljack?

That's a tough one. I mean, just for starters, the suspect list would be all the scientist-type Decepticons like Afterburner, then all the other Decepticons, then anybody else who's ever had one of his inventions blow up on them.

>"GRIMLOCK NO LIKE HAVING PUNY BRAIN! GRIMLOCK KING!" *BLAM*

The one time Grimlock had a big brain he liked that even less, IIRC. It wasn't Wheeljack's fault that the Dinobots were built in the middle of the Great DRAM shortage!

I'll say. Even more episode titles have been added since the last time I checked--I'll be very curious to watch the on-going CSI:Avalon/Half Life plotline develop, indeed. Vortigaunts strike me as the sort of alien race that would fit right in to UF's sensibilities without a second thought.

The one that catches my attention:

<121> "It's Pronounced Dukane"

It makes me wonder if Dick Seaton and Martin Crane are out there somewhere in the UF-verse...

...and I wonder if anyone will recognize the reference. :)

Oh, I do. I wonder, though, which is bigger: Largo's AT&T or the Skylark of Valeron...?

Skylark of Valeron is just large enough to contain the 1000 km diameter circles of a Sixth Order projector.

AT&T is the average size of an M-class planet so it's diameter is unlikely to be less than 10,000 km (Earth's equatorial diameter is 12,756 km approximately).

So Largo built his bigger, but in fairness, the SoV is more powerful (AT&T is presumably capable of planet killing, SoV managed to carry out barn and loft conversions on three Galaxies.

That's the size of the core. There's Eris-only-knows how many km of armour wrapped around it, and the size changes depending on how much of a beating it's been taking recently.

My understanding is that it's supposed to be the size of a large moon, so it's probably somewhere around 2-5Mm in total.

Well, Seaton himself says:

"She's just as small as she can be and still do the work....we built the Skylark of Valeron just large enough to contain those thousand-kilometer circles."

Besides, with the kind of forces these people were employing, any merely physical armor, no matter its thickness or strength, would be meaningless.

The really funny thing from my perspective is that that episode title hasn't got a goddamned thing to do with Doc Smith. :)

Well, I for one am terrified beyond the capacity for rational thought. ^.^

...although, in actual practice, Marc always winds up three steps behind on the tech/firepower chart, no matter how advanced he thought he was.
