I'm certain I might've introduced myself before, but you can call me Jamey.

Though not too much of a geek, I definitely have my interests. I like political and military stuff, but my most favorite of everything is magical girls.

I came here onto the page because I read the read the Core series and some of the more improved fic out there (Exile and Future Imperfect that is). I was hoping to contribute if I can, considering I know a few series that could be worth putting in.

In terms of fanfiction, I really enjoy crossovers, especially the big ones or ones I see most fitting. As of now my current crossovers are:
* A collaborative project between Code Geass and Lyrical Nanoha
* A Starcraft project involving Heart of the Swarm's evolution missions.
* A multi-crossover series that's ambitiously as big as Undocumented Features (and this was BEFORE learning UF) that involves an immense circle of parallel universes divided into ten nations.
* A number of crossovers with my own works.

Speaking of my own works, I develop and write my own series. The biggest is a magical girl series (as expected) that involves fighting an anti-magic organization that hunts them (not expected.) And there are many more on the way. So far, I finished through 7 episodes of 10 in Part, which I'll finished before moving to something else.

Look forward to be back on this. If you're interested, I can share a lot more.

Hello!

The studio as such is not looking to add more folks right now, but if you have work of your own that you'd like to share with folks through the forums, feel free!

Thanks for saying hi!

I see. Well, I'd still like to know if some following works will be in it. Currently, I'm thinking Vandread and Legend of Galactic Heroes.

Where are good places on this forum to post abou my own series, may I ask?

And welcome.

Just a heads up, mate. Talking about new stuff is all well and good? But don't expect something to turn up just because it's been talked about/requested. The UF universe has been around for a long, long while, and the creators have some very good, fairly specific ideas about what they want to show up. Vandread... probably isn't on the list. I say 'probably' because I'm not on staff, and thus have no actual idea what they have in the works - but I'm a long-time reader and feel like I have a pretty good feel for what might make the cut. Galactic Heroes is much more likely to be in the potential roster, to give you a general idea.

As for where to talk up your own stuff, you might look at the Private Mail forum.

Technically, Legend of Galactic Heroes is already in UF. Lafiel of the Abh is the navigator on Gryphon's ship, the Challenger.

On a point of order: That's Crest/Banner of the Stars, not Boring Germans in SpaceLegend of Galactic Heroes. :)

I'm more than aware of how long this has been so I won't expect it such shows to come up, even if they've seen discussed. I only wondered because we're in the 2500s(?) and all of the stuff in Vandread and LoGH come up later. (I think former has its stuff from 2700s-2800s, which is convinient for the latter as Earth is the enemy at that point. LoGH has stuff like Earth falling in the early 2700s, a Galactic Republic forming in 2801, then the Galactic Empire at around 3100 with the Free Planets Alliance coming a century or two after.) But even if it's not on there, just something to throw in.

And thanks for the advice, guess I'll start there.

Show timelines reeeeally don't matter all that much around here. I mean, you've got the original Ghostbusters kicking around town with Hellboy and company, several other characters set in timelines where relative dates aren't even a thing, and general timey-wimey shenanigans all over hell - and for that matter, there are worlds where tech hasn't even THOUGHT about reaching the space age, let alone interstellar flight cheap enough to be mainstream, and characters whose entire settings have been morphed into something new and amazing (looking at the HP cast as Jedi, as an example). UF's timeline is a thing unto itself, and should not (generally speaking) be used to judge whether something will fit in, is what I'm saying.

Indeed.

Just to name one concrete example, there's a scene in S4M6 Second Chances, set in the summer of 2409, in which Corwin is designing the Fafnir assault 'Mech - not seen in the Battletech canon until sometime in the 3060s, if memory serves.
