... with calendars around here. We've attempted three, of which one got finished in a more-or-less timely fashion, one didn't get finished at all, and the third never got to the "actual project" stage.

So, instead of an actual calendar for 2009 (which we probably won't do), here's one possible way it might, in a parallel universe, have gone:

Brunette (With Tigers): A Very Silly Calendar We Probably Won't Do

  • January: Kaitlyn and Serge

  • February: Kaitlyn (in wetsuit) and a tiger shark

  • March: Kaitlyn (in grey jumpsuit) and a Tiger tank

  • April: Kaitlyn (in OD flightsuit w/helmet) and a Grumman F-11 Tiger

  • May: Kaitlyn (as New Century Zatoichi) and Chad Collier, Kilrathi filmmaker

  • June: Kaitlyn (in non-EVA-configured NASA EV-A7LB space suit, yes, the page is in French, but it has the best illlustration) and Gene Kranz, flight director of the Apollo 13 Mission Control "tiger team" (in appropriately-themed vest)

  • July: Kaitlyn (in old-timey motoring costume) and a Sunbeam Tiger

  • August: Kaitlyn with the late Jerry Garcia's guitar

  • September: Kaitlyn with a Tiger beer

  • October: Kaitlyn and Tigger (both in E.H. Shepard art style)

  • November: Kaitlyn (in Isle of Man TT-appropriate cycling gear) on a Triumph Tiger

  • December: Kaitlyn (in dojo wear) and Jedi Master Peter B. "Tiger" Parker

As a Panzer Junkie, I think I could live with only March
But, the real question is: Where is Seven?

>Where is Seven?

He could be in any of them (or all of them, well, except the underwater one, I suppose); he's not very big.

If you could only produce one, I'd like to see May. Something about a girl, a talking tiger, suspenders, and a really wicked sword makes me smile.

It would be even more recursive if they could time travel back to the time when Chad was very young and his mother dressed him in a Tigger jumper for Halloween one year. She likes to utterly mortify him by pulling pictures of the event out for his friends.

That's the kind of image a sibling who has a taste for living dangerously and the benifit of being many light years distant, would gurilla edit a wikipedia entry with :D

That thing you burned up isn't important to me. It's the fluid catalytic cracking unit. It made shoes for orphans. Nice job breaking it, hero.

More than many light years, IIRC Chad has access to his own ship....

I don't know. I could see Seven in a little divers suit and helmet in the picture....

It is a fairly safe bet that by the 25th century, Tiger Woods is no more, though I suppose she might be standing next to a cardboard cutout of an enlarged photo she got from the Galactiweb.

But no, she doesn't.

It really is a shame that I can't draw animal figures worth carp.

While I'm at it...
More!
You can barely see Kate..'s scarf flying out the window in the Sunbeam Tiger. Also, if you squint/enlarge the image, you can see a signet ring on her hand.
Completely stole the Kate and Tigger scene.
That's about it.
There won't be "better" versions, these are just sitting in my sketchbook and these were digitized via a camera.

If I could draw vehicles and animals and settings and inanimate objects better, I might try submitting these. But I can't. You only get these.

Enjoy. :p

Hee!

These all make me smile, but I think the one with Kate and Chad, especially, has a lot of potential. If you don't want to develop it further, maybe we can do something with it in-house?

Have fun. :3

Personally, I think the composition and relatively stature of each need to be re-done, as well as Chad's face being re-done. Since it wasn't planned, Kate somehow manages to be standing on a surface higher than Chad is. Also, I can't draw animals. So Chad's face looks... off.

The ones I like best are Kate & Tigger and Kate & Serge. Kate & Tigger, because they don't have to look like their actual counterpart. They're kinda doll-looking. And Kate came out lovely, all lounging on Serge like that.

Wow. These are wonderful! I really like Kaitlyn + Chad and Kaitlyn and Tigger. There's something so fantastically cute and innocent about that one.

Like I said a ways back, March alone makes me a very, very happy person
Also, while I'm actually here, Merry Christmas everyone.
