Tactical Breach Wizards.Demo dropped on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1043810/Tactical_Breach_Wizards/ I just spent a very fun hour laughing my ass off and having more fun with a demo (or game, for that matter) than I've had in years. The characters strike me as being some TTRPG player's PCs from a particularly zany Shadowrun campaign. And the fact that the trailer uses the Hollywood Action Movie Narrator voice just really sets the tone that the game adheres to. Trailer here: https://youtu.be/C_93-mOoqUo I had. So. Many. Laughs. I don't know who did the writing but the dialogue between the characters is ... it's... it's just great. Chef's kiss and all that. --sofaspud --Jen, we really ought to talk about your defenestration obsessiom

I've been waiting for TBW since about 3 seconds after the announcement, and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone out there. Mostly, this recommendation is due to the fact that it's the third game of the GLORIOUSLY named "Defenestration Trilogy". Note that, neither of the two previous games have anything in common with each other, or with TBW. Other than throwing your target out a window somehow, that is. The first game is Gunpoint, wherein you use your Crosslink to re-wire the entire area and make guards open doors with their gun, or turn the lights off by opening doors. Oh, and tackle guards through windows with your recoil pants. The second game is Heat Signature. In this game, you fly your space pod up to a space ship, dock, and sneak on board. Once on board, you use your various gadgets to take out the crew, and then you steal stuff. These gadgets range from guns which let you shoot the enemy through ship windows to stealth shields to keep you unseen to teleporters. Which let you shoot the window, go flying through YOURSELF and then switch yourself with a guy in the ship, leaving him outside the window. As you can tell, and probably guessed from the name of the trilogy, throwing people through windows is a very important part of the games. Glorious stuff, very recommended. ...! I heartily recommend you give it a go. It's not big so space and download time isn't much of a consideration, and it is one of the most hilarious games I ever played. ...! Stoke Mandeville, Esq & The Victorian Ballsmiths "Nobody Want Verdigris- Covered Balls!"

I second this recommendation. It's exactly the kind of off-kilter plot inspired by film Noir that is in the wheelhouse of everyone on this forum.

>The characters strike me as being some TTRPG player's PCs from a >particularly zany Shadowrun campaign. As someone who has played in a particularly zany Shadowrun campaign (long-time viewers may remember the Karma Dwarves story), can confirm. Also, the puns in the role names (Navy Seer, Traffic Warlock) are top-notch. --G. -><- Benjamin D. The full game is out now, FYI. I haven't played much further than the demo yet but Zan's grandmother is hilarious.

I just got the medic." Infiltrate Blacksite: COMPLETE Extract Dessa Banks: COMPLETE Get entire team fatally poisoned and shot in the head: Not in the plan, but yes, COMPLETE " And also, the post-mission scenelet is them sitting around some dingy alley eating... I think they're burritos, or maybe sandwiches? Zan and Jen are eating theirs more or less normally. Dessa is dissecting hers with a scalpel, one tiny bite at a time. This game, man. This goddamn fucking glorious game. :D --sofaspud --
