[Used as background music for the climactic fight scene in Zatôichi vs. Wolverine, which is a little like the climactic fight scene in The Killer except with swords instead of guns, and no doves. And Ichi doesn't get killed.]

Did you see the light
As they fell all around you?
Did you hear the music?
A serenade from the stars
Wake up, wake up
Wake up and look around you
We're lost in space
And the time is our own

Did you feel the wind
As it blew all around you?
Did you feel the love
That was in the air?
Wake up, wake up
Wake up and look around you
We're lost in space
And the time is our own

The Sun comes up
And it shines all around you
We're lost in space
And the Earth is our home

Insurance.

Also, it occurs to me that they could actually do a New Century Zatôichi remake of The Killer where Ichi is the blind girl and the assassin. Though the standoff scene where the blind girl makes tea would probably be less funny.

Ironically enough there's a movie about a female blind swordsman named Ichi. (not surprisingly its named Ichi). It's pretty good if you can rent or stream it.

What tickles me about it is when I stumbled across it was I had one of those 'hey I've already seen that in UF' moments which made it fun mentally replacing the main actress with Kaitlyn. Even more humorous is New Century Zatoichi was presented here a few years before the movie came out.

I've seen it! (thank you, Seattle, for having a place I can rent it, Scarecrow Video.) It's pretty boss.

When I found out about it a few years ago, I mentioned it, and Gryph did say something like "Man, they don't ripped off my idea".

I hope the city is treating you well.

(I don't go to Scarecrow much - too long a walk.)
