#0, So about the next Fulcrum of Fate...
Posted by trigger on Jul-18-11 at 08:59 PM
I was re-reading WOTR (and seasons 3+4 of Symphony - low productivity day, but man, I feel better than James Brown). And of course, now I'm wondering who the evil red-robed dudes are that are busy trying to kill or corrupt the Jedi order. And hoping for that first Rei/Vader fight scene.

But more critically given the revisions that Symphony 5 bought on, I'm wondering how much of Blades and Fulcrum of Fate have been changed by the presence of Saionji as part of the order of the black rose. And how UF can deal with two Anakin Skywalkers...

I realize some of these questions are old, but now I'm very curious, esp. since there's some foreshadowing of Tali's presence in FF3.

Which leads to the next question - does anyone have a good timeline on events? A hell of a lot is happening in 2410.

cheers,
t.

Not much that I can think of right offhand. The critical events of S5 should be over with long before Road Movie to Naboo, much less Fulcrum and particularly Blades, which happens almost four years later. If there are any changes that need to be made once S5 has reached its endgame, I'll deal with that when the time comes, but I'm not foreseeing wholesale alterations right now. They don't have to come down for retooling like Infamy, as far as I can tell from here.

... there is? That would have been quite a trick, given that Fulcrum 3 was written a good two years before the release of Mass Effect. :)

We've recently pulled together a timeline for the main points, in the process of trying to redevelop the momentum on S5, but much of what's on it would be spoilers if we released it right now.

It was actually in FF1. You did a smart writer thing and gave yourself an opportunity:

Len smiled. "Serendipity. -Are- you seeing anyone, though?"
"As a matter of fact," said Gryphon, but instead of going on,
he gave his son a puzzled look and said, "That's an odd thing to be
curious about, first thing back from spending years on the Rim."
"Well," said Leonard; he seemed to be searching for words,
then went on, "You ought to know that Mom's alive."

cheers,

And just to simplify responses - would a time line of pre-2404 contain too many spoilers? I think that's the year Utena enters WPI, so up to her presence in UF seems to be well understood.

Oh, I thought you were talking about just 2410. That's what we've been working on for behind-the-scenes reference, not the whole span of UF. Nothing like that exists apart from the chronological story listing, as far as I know. Not in-house, certainly.

I'm sure a fan with too much time on their hands will try to put one together eventually.
