If my terrible eyesight isn't lying to me, I believe I see a lineart date in 2011 and a colored date in 2013.

Yep, that's a Right Hand of Wrath alright. And the color matches his eyes, too. Very chic. :D

You know your new appendage was born to be badass when it makes a lightsaber look dinky by comparison. This does lead me to a fiddly technical question: Is there a functional in-universe limit on the size and length of a lightsaber? I know the handles are mostly a matter of preference, it's the blade I'm talking about. (Not that, y'know, a lightsaber blade needs to be huge to be effective or anything.)

Would I be stretching the point to put on a tinfoil halo held up by plastic devil horns at this point? *ponders*

I don't know about EPU, but in the EU, there isn't, really:

I'd guess that it depends entirely on the size of the handle and the focus crystal used. Case in point, Alaia's light-dirk from Fulcrum of Fate. If they can go smaller, then it stands to reason they can be made (at least a bit) bigger.

Probably, but I can't be arsed to define it.

Well, Lightsabers depend on certain crystalline optical components, the dimensions of which seem to dictate those of the blade. The likelihood of a crystal being unusably flawed probably increases exponentially with its size. You could have an unreasonably large Lightsaber, but it would take a lot of patience and willingness to suffer exploding sabers.

EDIT: and this is why one should read the entire thread before replying. Oops.

This seems like something that would be tested by Travis Touchdown more than anyone else.

Hey now, he uses a non-trademarked "beam" saber.

Or the Mythbusters...

I was heartily amused by Jamie being accused of going to the Dark Side and finally building the Death Star in the retrial of the painting-by-explosives episode last week.

I'm just sayin', there's a reason why the Mythbusters now work out of a building nicknamed "M-8".

(It doesn't involve Bastila or Jamie. Which was the problem...)
