Here are a couple of recent arrivals from the efforts of our own Doc Mui:

Fig. 1 Amelia Pond, DSM Class of 2412, by Jeff Moy

Fig. 2 Professor Rose Tyler at work, by Dirk Tiede

As an aside, we're now 2 for 2 in commissioned artists including a Dalek saucer in illustrations of Professor Tyler. That isn't in the original character design spec, it's a detail both artists have apparently just decided to include at random. I'm not complaining about this, I just think it's an interesting coincidence. :)

You should make a thread about Pacific Rim. Mine has heaps of replies. :smug:

They're great pieces - I don't often comment on art but I know what I like. :)

I like them both, but I'm not totally sure #1 feels....Amy-ish. Maybe color would help, but it could almost be any random DSM-uniform wearing lass with a sword.

I dunno about that. I linked the image to someone that hasn't read UF in years, and he went 'Huh. Amy Pond?'

I dunno. The combination of sword and cricket ball has got me thinking "Amy as St Trinian's Girl", which, well, ahem.

Heh. Now there's a source which deserves a place somewhere in UF.

Approval cat approves! I especially liked seeing the Professor at work.
