#0, FYI S5M4

I just got to the end of the first draft and put the preliminary credits on. Tomorrow (that is, later today... Friday, anyway), finish carpentry, possibly one more scene to add, the always painstaking process of assembling the cast list, and so forth. Probably out Friday night or Saturday morning. Worst case, if it's not quite ready before I have to go out of town for $reasons, late Sunday or midday Monday. Then on to S5M5, which follows directly (and I mean directly) on the last scene in M4.

(Still no S11 Act 04 because S5 is locked in priority interrupt mode. One hopes you will excuse him for not fighting that too hard. :)

Sweet! Is it too much to ask if the audio will hit this weekend?

Maybe? Not sure. I've got about half of it recorded, but the other half of the text isn't quite final, and it remains to be seen if there'll be time to record it before I have to leave, once it is. We shall see.

... also, it will have to stop thundering at some point. I don't have an explosion-canceling mic. :)

Pfft, I suspect there are lurkers of this board whose 'squee' over two SotS movements in less than a month were heard across the multiverse. :)

We'll take what we can get, when we can get it. :)

Exciting times!

Excellent!

I'm already prepared to be a completely hypercritical killjoy about this. While actual happiness is, of course, not permitted at all, I'm allowing myself to feel some cautious optimism.

In fairness, it was probably a joke.

I think.

Maybe.

Technically, Penny Arcade made the joke.

I just stole it from them and then mangled the hell out of it.

To paraphrase you, if my expression could make a sound, that sound would be "Bong!"

Looking forward to it with great excitement.

Sorry, guys, the finish work took a little longer than I was hoping (the two-hours work stoppage for electrical storms didn't help). It'll be tomorrow. Everybody can head to bed. Unless you're in Hawaii or someplace. That'd just be silly in that case.

Just so you know, I initially misparsed "S11" as "Symphony 11". I hit "Retry" at the biological brain's equivalent of the "Abort, Retry, Fail?" prompt, and sighed in relief when the second attempt returned a more reasonable result.
