"... really don't see why you'd choose -her- to be your new
Padawan, Poirot. She's... well, she's a bit of a bore, isn't she?"
"You think so? Ah, mais non, mon ami. Miss Granger, she has
-method-, Hastings. The orderliness of her mind, it is quite
extraordinary. None of her classmates can approach her in that."
"I can't see why they'd -want- to."

There's a part of me that knows your right, and then there's another part of me that imagines...

"Come on! Let me join the Titans," Brainiac 5 pleaded. "A twelfth level intellect such as myself would be an asset to your team."

Robin nodded sagely, "Querl, we'd love to have you, but--"

"We know you just want to join to meet Supergirl," Beast Boy challeneged, "and besides, your green clashes with mine. Cyborg would totally have to redo the website to account for it."

He may not have read the books, but seen the movies.

Either way, it looks like it'll be another interesting read. 8)

Which is funny since it's not the first ref of it's kind that's been dropped.

Also, the author's name is "Rowling" (apparently pronounced with a broad "o", like in "down"), not "Rawlings" - but that's OK, because your version gave me the mental image of what, say, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire would've been like if it had been written by Henry Rollins, and, well, that would have been awesome.

(as, for that matter, would have been Henry Rollins and the Philosopher's Stone)

OK, so I completely misread the situation... I thought you were referring to Dawn "Dove II" Granger.
