Alright, it's been 4 days, and I still can't figure out what the "Assassin's Last Surprise" is supposed to be. I mean, some sort of healing or shapechanging spell just doesn't sound badass enough, from the surrounding context. Direct Message or whisper if you must.

Basically, the assassin's last surprise is discovering that the woman who just gave birth the day before is fully recovered (not just from pregnancy's side effects, but more importantly, from the delivery itself), and very possibly in better fighting shape than he is. It's a dangerous job, being a svartelven noblewoman, but it does have a decent benefits package. --G.
