That, and I could damn near hug Gryphon (or whomever suggested them) for introducing the Fleet of Fog. Err, hopefully the manga version, not the anime version.

Is it wrong that I badly would like to have Hyuuga meet EVE?

I'm fuzzy on the distinction, really, but given the rather glacial pace of the manga both internally and, in terms of its English releases at least, externally, it's more likely that the UF versions will more closely resemble the latter - though they're liable to develop into Their Own Thing reasonably quickly in either case.

I don't think there's a lot of difference in the personalities between the two sets, it's just the manga takes the time to explain everybody's damages a bit more. Well, excepting the characters associated with the Admiralty Code plot, as that thing is more tangled than spaghetti spun in a centrifuge.
