Updated:

Next Friday (November 7)'s installment of The Federation Lives Forever!, Chapter 8, will be the last for a while. The story isn't ending, I'm not out of ideas, and I'm not having a hard time keeping to the schedule (although with the semester past the halfway point and my senior thesis topic approved, that one might've changed soon anyway). Rather, it's because with that chapter, TFLF's storyline will reach a point where some other things need to come out before it can go on without spoiling them.

Still, that'll be nine weekly installments of around 20K each, not including the Supporting Documents; not bad for an experiment of this kind, and it's only a hiatus, not a cancellation.

That is all.

I've been enjoying the ride so far, and since you're almost caught up with the current narrative, I understand perfectly.

I might've spoken too soon. (Yeah, I know, that never happens.) I think what I've been working on tonight, which was going to be the first half of Chapter 7, is just going to be Chapter 7, which would make what was going to be the second half Chapter 8, and then we're at the break point.
