A thought on this...Ty Lee has to be one of the people that Toph is most scared of/ respects, because she can effectively BLIND Toph by shutting down her bending temporarily. So its in her best interests to not piss Ty Lee off. Just my $0.02

That is so. And actually, there are several interpretations available of Toph's expression (it is, after all, the only one her face does, so it has to serve for most purposes). It could mean what I said, or - perhaps more entertainingly - it could mean, "Yeah, that's right, you bastards had better run. I brought a circus acrobat to this one."
