#0, And my Soap Opera life takes another bizarre twist...
Posted by Apostate_Soul on Jun-12-12 at 06:58 PM

I have a sort-of Date tomorrow.

With someone who even her closest friends describe as a Sociopath. I didn't find this out until after I had been making arrangementas to meet up with her.

Seriously, what deity did I offend in a previous life?!

Yep.

I quite agree.

DESPITE the fact that I am involved in a very weird, arms-length emotional-platonic-but-heading-towards-more relationship with a trans-girl who is also the girlfriend of my BFF...

Complicated, much?

There was a great bit in Rule 34 that had a sociopath bemoaning the fact that all of the neurotypical hated him just because his brain worked slightly differently then most did.

Ironically, if he was really a sociopath he wouldn't give a shit.

Well, really what he was bemoaning was that it made his life harder that people sort of instinctively didn't trust him. Not so much "they don't like me, boo hoo" so much as "God damnit, why do I have to bother pretending to be kind and nice and why do I have to take these pills?"
