zgryphon: If the Millennium Falcon had a mental model, she'd be incredibly pretty, but dress like a Soviet lathe operator and have the kind of haircut that looks like she did it herself with a pair of nail clippers.

bzarcher: and probably covered with about 22 different kinds of grease stains and soot.

"Chewie, we're home."
"My love, you've come back to me!" *Shoves Han aside, hugs Chewbacca.*

All the other girls in the movie loved that wookie, after all.

I believe someone took a swing at mental models or a similar concept before.

Not just Millenium Falcon, admittedly.

So, we've got Star Trek, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, aaaaand... a BBC Radio 4 comedy starring Crumplehorned Bandersnatch about a miniscule airline trying not to go under. One of these things is not like the others.

I approve. =]

FiMFiction.net: we might accept blatant porn involving the cast of My Little Pony but as God is my witness we have standards.

I wonder if the different Enterprises have all the same face, with a slow evolution of different hairstyles (and uniforms, of course, but that's a given).

Though, in further thought, the Enterprise-E should look like a young Majel Barrett. She is already the ship's voice, after all.
