I woke up this morning with a sinus cold, so I'm not going to be recording Battle 07 right away. It would be painful to do and rubbish to listen to. Sorry. With a bit of luck I'll be able to do it before classes resume on Monday.

Sorry to hear it. Feel better soon. You're the nth person I know who is starting 2011 with a cold. Not promising.

It's actually turning out to be not too bad, touch wood - the sore throat part has already abated, so now I'm just waiting for sinus function to be restored, and hoping it doesn't shift southward in the final phase and lodge as bronchitis for a couple weeks, which my colds sometimes do.

Yeah, I had that happen last month, after my daughter gave me the third sinus infection in a month. Unfortunately, the Magic Nose Machine™* has a tendency to encourage stuff to travel down into the lungs and stay there... :(

Eh, my colds have followed that pattern since long before I ever met CPAP. It doesn't take much effort to persuade my weakass lungs to work poorly. Souvenir of infant respiratory distress syndrome, most likely. It's why I never took up smoking; half the time I have a smoker's cough anyway.
