I bought an adult tricycle on Friday, and have been using it every day since to get around.

It's got 7 speeds, and I typically go up to 4th or 5th gear for cruising purposes. And once I get it paid off, I'm going to get an electric assist conversion for it. It especially helps me out since I can't get a driver's license and honestly don't want to get something I could easily kill someone else with.

I had one of those like 20 years ago! (I'm old and crap) I mean not that specific model, but an adult tricycle.

Honestly I kind of miss it. I didn't know they were still making them. That's awesome.

It's probably more expensive than it was 20 years ago, though. I paid $650 for just the trike, and $200 more for accessories (helmet, lights, mirrors, and so on).

I feel like it needs a name, but none of the ones I've come up with feel right.

Well, I mean, I'm not here to tell you what to do, but it is Hatsune Miku green. I'm just putting it out there. :)

Not until I put teal tassels in the handlebars, at least.

Huh, nifty. I looked at getting the kind with the two wheels at the front once, back when it looked like I might be living on campus, but eventually concluded that a) they were too expensive, b) it'd be too unwieldy, and c) I wasn't going to do that anyway, so I didn't.

I also really covet these, because that or a sidecar rig are realistically the only ways I'm ever going to manage a motorcycle-like thing again

Do you get onto it via the Ryker maneuver?
