Jennifer Hale (possibly most famous for voicing Commander Shepard) is also the voice for Avatar Kyoshi.

Indeed. Unfortunately, Kyoshi only had about four lines and most of what she said was wrong,* but nevertheless, that is correct. :)

* That's no reflection on her. Virtually every guru or other spiritual/philosophical authority figure in the Avatar universe mostly says things that are wrong.

So, basically Avatar Kyoshi is what happens when you take a Renegade FemShep and give her power over the four elements?

Nah, Kyoshi's not a Renegade. She's too into serve-the-public-trust/protect-the-innocent for that. She's just kind of a jerky Paragon.

Thought of her as a Renegade because it seemed so many times on such runs that Renegade Shep wasn't being evil but instead taking "by any means necessary" as a challenge.

Renegade Shepard wouldn't have killed Chin the Conqueror by accident, is all I'm saying. :)

You're right, s/he would have jammed a sharp tool between their shoulder blades.

(Even on a ME2 Paragon run, that interrupt is a must. "You're working too hard," indeed.)

Still prefer the teenage version of her over in that comic on Deviantart (Which has a few new pages since I last checked). Your idea of her wandering out of Valhalla at whatever age she prefers continues to appeal to me.

Heh, yeah. Young Kyoshi Adventures* Kyoshi > other forms of Kyoshi.

* Not what it's actually called, but, you know.

DYK Oscar winner Eva Marie Saint (On the Waterfront, North by Northwest) did the voice of Katara in The Legend of Korra? (Mae Whitman did the voice in ATLA)
