For some reason, and I don't know if anyone else is getting this, the forum keeps sticking line breaks in my signature. Here's what it currently looks like pre-editing."She's old, she's lame, she's barren too, // "She's not worth feed or hay, // "But I'll give her this," - he blew smoke at me - // "She was something in her day." -- Garnet Rogers, Small Victory FiMFiction.net: we might accept blatant porn involving the cast of My Little Pony but as God is my witness we have standards. I, er... I don't know what I'm doing wrong here. Probably something obvious. On the off-chance that it's not my limitless idiocy at the heart of the problem, though, consider this you guys being informed. =] --- "She's old, she's lame, she's barren too, // "She's not worth feed or hay, // "But I'll give her this," - he blew smoke at me - // "She was something in her day." -- Garnet Rogers, Small Victory FiMFiction.net: we might accept blatant porn involving the cast of My Little Pony but as God is my witness we have standards.

Your sig looks fine on my side, which suggests it may be something in your browser.

I'm seeing those as (apparently) wrapped text. The first takes 3 lines (complete), the 2nd takes 2 (complete). I'm not sure which of those versions is supposed to be correct: the 1st quote (as example) that's 3 lines long or the one that's 8 lines long (from your original post) Jeanne

The incorrect version is the one you quoted. For reference, I have left it unchanged below, rather than edit it to make it correct again.--- "She's old, she's lame, she's barren too, // "She's not worth feed or hay, // "But I'll give her this," - he blew smoke at me - // "She was something in her day." -- Garnet Rogers, Small Victory FiMFiction.net: we might accept blatant porn involving the cast of My Little Pony but as God is my witness we have standards.

This or something like it happens to people's reply-with-quotes sometimes as well. I think it's a browser-handles-prepopulated-edit-window-weirdly thing and not DCF's doing. I am unable to replicate it.--G. -><- Benjamin D. Righto. I'll not worry about it, then. =]--- "She's old, she's lame, she's barren too, // "She's not worth feed or hay, // "But I'll give her this," - he blew smoke at me - // "She was something in her day." -- Garnet Rogers, Small Victory FiMFiction.net: we might accept blatant porn involving the cast of My Little Pony but as God is my witness we have standards.

I am unable to replicate it. When I was editing my .sig, I found that editing in Chrome added a line break where it wrapped in the text window, but Firefox did not. So it's definitely a browser thing. "Mathematics brought rigor to economics. Unfortunately, it also brought mortis." - Kenneth Boulding

>FiMFiction.net: we might accept blatant porn involving the cast of My >Little Pony but as God is my witness we have standards. I see this, say it in my head, and for some strange reason immediately flash back to my youth and hear that first lick of "House of a Thousand Pleasures" by EZO (Akira Takasaki of Loudness was in that band too) that Z-Rock used to use as a bumper while they cut to commercial. Bizarrely, that sounds almost EXACTLY like the opening riff to "Cult of Personality".
