... doesn't work yet, I know. Probably a write permissions issue on the backend. I've alerted Dave.

When it is working, I'll transplant the existing STO-related threads from the various boards where they are now (Eyrie Misc, General, and private-mail) into it. While I'm at it, I've taken the opportunity of deactivating a few of the long-dead fora for products that are over or never generated much traffic in the first place. (NXE is over, but it still gets talked about some, so I left that one.)

Something that I thought of when I read the thought to make an STO-fora was, consider an MMO-fora? After all, other MMOs have caught on with people, such as CoH, DCUO and so on. Something for all the games that are discussed? Just a thought, and of course, with the cheap price of free, also entirely free to be ignored.

OK! Looks like it's working now.

It's a thought, but for now I think I prefer to handle things like that on a case-by-case basis. Misc is there for light/casual involvements (like DCUO, which I didn't stick with long enough to warrant much attention); if there was a general MMO board, that might create an expectation that general MMO chatter is expected, and I don't have much interest in the vast majority of the MMOs out there, so that's not really something I want. World of Warcraft already has enough websites about it, for instance. :)
