"Ikazuchi carrier"

I just read the core series again, and these ships also keep turning up in the mini-stories (which rock!!!!) and I wanted to know what they look like.

As they say, google is your friend.

here it is.

Though I doubt the Palladium stats apply....

This also explains why I didn't know the ship. I've only seen a small part of Mospeada.

Indeed they do not. We're working on this, but don't expect miracles (or hard facts) for a long time to come. Finding acceptable raw data to work with is difficult, especially when there's so many fan supplements that they contradict each other....

But the picture's about right? I just wanted to know what it looked like and which source it came from.

No worries! I wasn't trying to push you or Gryphon.

I don't envy you there.

I tend to favor the version espoused by the Robotech Reference Guide, myself, though that is partly bias as I have done a bit of writing for it here and there. It's what Harmony Gold worked from to come up with their new Robotech canon.

To complicate matters further, the Shadow Chronicles movie seems to have versions of the Ikazuchi (and Garfish) quite different from the ones depicted in Mospeada.

Though to note, assuming all goes well, there should be a new Palladium Robotech Shadow Chronicles RPG by the end of the year, this one closely audited for canonical correctness by Harmony Gold. (There's an interview with Kevin Siembieda on my Robotech podcast where he answers some questions about it.)
