Remember this you don't have to be 14 years old to pilot EVA. You Just have to be born about 9 Months after second impact, so in saying they could actualy come in with their avatars if they move the time line foward.... oh say by 5 years. and that would just kill all you killjoys who think DJ is Gryphon. To all The EPU staff keep up the great work P.S. why don't you release a trailer for the NXE Movie? Paul "Remember your weapons were made by the lowest bidder" " Friendly Fire isn't" |

Certainly not to kill your enthusiasm, but why do any of the other Eyrie leads have to be EVA pilots? I'm sure if any of them wanted to wedge an SI into the series, there's about a hundred different things they could do before dropping in as new pilots. And, IMO, the fact that none of them have done that is probably something that has kept the series from lapsing into bad fanfic (aside from nit type things like good writing and storyline ;). Nevermind the fact the it would probably be rather jarring in the continuity of everything. Now, Gryphon the Director taking an EVA for a joyride in a BT, that would be fun. :) ------------------------------ "You're a louse, Roger Smith." ------------------------------ Chad Collier Digital Bitch J. I have a notion for my own little Hitchcock Moment in the movie, just for the sake of having done it. All the wailing and gnashing of teeth over author presence in fanfic makes me loath to have any series in which I haven't appeared at least once. >Now, Gryphon the Director taking an EVA for a joyride in a BT, that >would be fun. :) "Mr. Director, stop! All the wailing and gnashing of teeth >over author presence in fanfic makes me loath to have any series in >which I haven't appeared at least once. Ahh, but of course. That's different. My two favorite examples of those are Hitch missing the bus at the opening of North By Northwest (the recent dvd of which is an amazing transfer, fyi) and the guy in Jurassic Park: The Lost World who gets snatched up by the t-rex while trying to bail into the video store, who was the screenwriter. >>Now, Gryphon the Director taking an EVA for a joyride in a BT, that >>would be fun. :) > >"Mr. Director, stop! That was at work as well, and explaining turkey and bacon sandwich snarfage to the sysadmins here I don't want to do. (Our High Priestess admin here, upon my making a passing joke about something she was working on in the machine room looking like plastic explosives, replied deadpan with, "Well, if I remember correctly, Semtex is orange, and this isn't, so we're ok." I'm a model user. ;) >"Oh, Bother," said Pooh, as the EVA aimed its particle beam rifle. Eyore in a plug suit. After all, if you ARE SI'd as yourself, it gives more weight to the "I'm not DJ!" argument... Offsides, 5 yard penalty, still second down. #include <stdsig.h> |

>>P.S. why don't you release a trailer for the NXE Movie? >Haven't come up with a good concept for one. What's so hard about that? Lessee, flat platform with a little retaining wall, wheels, hitch, big "Apotheosis Now" decals on the sides. Make sure you have a proper lights-n-brake hookup with the towing vehicle and you're ready to go! <grins, ducks and runs> -- Bob |

>(December 4, 2001 or 2002, prabably the >latter). Oops. I meant "2000 or 2001". Yeah. In NGE, Asuka was born on Dec. 4th, in either 2000 or 2001. Almost certainly 2001. "Omoshiroi. Yarou ka?" |
