"Salutations"
|
Hello, all: Finally got around to registering again (my previous account got scrapped because of a long period of inactivity). I've been reading the boards since August 2001 and consider the writing of the EPU folks of the finest cross-genre works available for mass pop-culture consumption. Started reading Undocumented Features back in 1996 -- been in love with everything else offered here since. One of the coolest things about EPU works for me: The writing is so illustrative that I can -see- the story happening as if it were anime. The downside: I have to force myself to slown down while reading in order to make it last at least 22 minutes (the length of an OAV episode. ^_^) This causes problems later when I meet my other anime-interested friends and I start confusing EPU works with anime: Them: "Man, I love the swords and stylistic designs of Utena. Everything's so cool." Me: "Yeah, totally. Like that part when Utena took on Ohtori with two swords on the dueling platform while Corwin was trying to rescue Anthy, yeah?" Them: "... huh?" Oh well. In any case, yoroshiku onegaishimasu! -Tzukumori --- My Number One Goal in Life: Getting One. |

The thought of EPU Productions being treated like real television programs... *Sighs* If only it were true. > Oh well.
