"Introductions"

Well, lets see... About a month ago, someone made me watch Evangelion. So, for about a month of renting the things from Netflix, wanting to strangle Ikari Shinji repeatedly, or lock him in a small room with my personage and not let him out till he showed some signs of improvement... I went, "Ew."

Then, someone on a text-based game that I routinely play on made a reference to DJ Croft. At that point, I was like 'who?' and was told to search for NXE. I did, and started reading.

A week later, I find myself having read the thing in 12 hour spurts on both my overworked Handspring (Visor Prism, for those that wonder, its a palm pilot...), and on my laptop.

It was brought to my attention as something silly, not worth reading. After reading it, however, in its entire arc... I think it is truly good work. It reminds me of a project I and my friends started long ago, but could never complete. Seeing something of this scale, with so many references that I found most amusing... Half the fun was picking out how many references I could detect... I liked it alot.

And after all this, I find the forums here, and so join...

The authors of NXE took characters that nobody would want, and turned them into very good and useful people. Especially a particular angel, and her annoying but somewhat good sister.
