"DJ and the Thinger"

I'm reasonably sure young Lord Langley-Croft doesn't want to touch the weird alien glowstick, much less pick it up and carry it to the Skyranger. Look at the face he's pulling. Cheer up, lad! You're immortal! What's the worst that could happen?

If I recall correctly, Mr. Croft is only kind of immortal. The sort of immortal where if you fuck up you have to wait a few decades to have another go-round.

I'd be cautious too!

It's not that he's worried about dying. He's just got plans for later. Dying right now would put a serious kink in those plans.

What plans? Well, give His Lordship a few minutes. He'll think of something.

That's very definitely a "His Lordship is having precisely none of your shit" face.

To me, this looks more like a "I came all the way out here for THIS?" *sigh* "Figures." kind of face.

I love the combat monocle. As soon as I saw it, I knew DJ needed it.

To paraphrase that quintessential thespian Jean-Claude Van Damme in the live-action Street Fighter movie, "Four years of ROTC for this shit?"
