"Avatar Kyoshi webcomic"
|
LAST EDITED ON Jul-07-14 AT 11:48 AM (EDT) by pjmoyer (moderator) Sorry, original poster! I have no idea how I managed to click "Remove" instead of "Reply", they're nowhere near each other. I am a foul and degenerate creature; I will now play the music.Anyway! Someone (how sad is it that I didn't entirely register who? Drakensis, maybe?) posted a page of Kyoshi: The Undiscovered Avatar, a webcomic by a user named Amirai over on deviantART. I was trying to say I'd seen it and think it's adorable (which is not a word one often associates with Kyoshi, but, well, you'll see), not erase the original post. Fair warning, though, it's not finished yet, and the artist has evidently suffered an injury of some kind that slows down the process quite a bit. --G. -><- Benjamin D. Fair warning: it's adorable right up to the point where Kyoshi turns into some kind of unstoppable engine of fear and flame. Then it's both adorable and awesome. -Merc Keep Rat |

>Fair warning: it's adorable right up to the point where Kyoshi turns >into some kind of unstoppable engine of fear and flame. > >Then it's both adorable and awesome. Indeed. It makes me think that Kyoshi could probably benefit from some of that Valhalla floating-point personal-timescale action that Toph and Aang have had going on at various points in S5. She was much more likeable as a teenager. --G. Kyoshi resets her age to 16 and sneaks into a modern-day Kyoshi Warriors formation; sees how long it takes the kids to notice. -><- Benjamin D. LAST EDITED ON Jul-07-14 AT 07:41 PM (EDT) >This weeks theme appears to be 'cute Avatar girls meeting their spirit >animals.' Unintentional, but undeniable. :) Mind you, if you wanted to extrapolate further - if Sokka hadn't been there, Kanzo and Peiping may well have pushed li'l Korra to her first encounter with the Avatar State 10 years early. History would've been very different. --G. And probably better, albeit not from Kanzo and Peiping's perspectives. -><- Benjamin D.
