Never actually played it myself, though I do remember when it came out and wanting to play it. After it got shut down, I figured that was that. But you gotta love fan communities with server space to spare.

   Heh, I was cleaning out a drawer of random junk yesterday and ran across not one but two copies of Star Wars Galaxies: The Total Experience, the box set of all the expansions that I think was the retail game's final form. I have no idea now why I bought two of them, other than they were probably just about giving them away in the last year of the game's lifespan, but there they were.

   Are they running the server pre-Jedi patch or post-Jedi patch?

Honestly the change to the way Jedi work is the reason my brother, who did it the hard way, stopped playing.

so far far pre jedi.

I think they are still working on getting jump to lightspeed up
