"LEGO Ideas"
 
   It's like Kickstarter, only without the part where they hit you up for money up front. So I guess a better comparison might be Steam Greenlight? Anyway.

Here's someone's idea for a LEGO Nautilus from the classic '60s 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea movie adaptation. I'd buy it! Or at least I'd look it up on LEGO's store website, think, My God, LEGO kits are expensive and regretfully close the tab. If I'm being completely honest.

   I remember when that site was under a different name and this VF-1J with Super and Armoured Parts gem was put up, I voted for it and it got the needed supporters but it never got approved.
Pity I would have bought one no matter what.

Given the hideous tangle that is the Macross international rights situation, LEGO's legal department probably looked at the proposal and said, "Nooooope."

Or, well, they're Danish, so I guess "Nøøøøøpe."
